This morning in Minsk we met with Artur and his wife Olya. First they took
us to lunch in some beautiful restaurant on the 28th floor of a skyscraper,
where we could see all of Minsk. The food there was just awesome!
Afterwards they took us (in their red P85+ of course) on a private
sightseeing-by-car tour of Minsk. Really great of them! At their home we
found our Model S charged up to 414 km - woohoo - and we continued our trip
towards Smolensk. By the way, I was impressed by how Artur navigated his
big Model S through Minsk and around tight corners, parked cars etc.. I
could never do it this accurate. Well, he's a professional truck-trial
driver, that explains it maybe. :-)
Tesla goes East - from Germany to Russia by electric car (well, at least we will give it a try! :-) ). As usual, with live GPS tracking and hopefully more often than not, live video streaming. In July 2015 I made my drivers license - motivated by Model S and Bjørn's videos - just to be able to drive an electric car. Since I got my MS in 08/2015 I have driven 66k km thanks to SuCs. But Supercharging gets boring, so we gotta try something more exciting. Let's try to find red plugs in the East...
Live tracking
Click on the marker to see our current speed, altitude etc. Updates automatically approx. every 60 seconds. If you click anywhere on the driven track (blue) and then show track profile you can see the elevation and velocity profile of the last hours/days.
